Greetings

This was a year of growth. Our garden has expanded, and we were able to provide our school partners vegetable starts Spring 2023, that we grew in our new greenhouse. Shout out to Preston Shivley for donating the labor. As I write this our covered picnic area is being built to be used for Tribal Revival 2023. The creator blessed us with generous donors and we look forward to a productive 2023.

 Hello friends,

2020 Brought some real challenges for our normal activities.  We decided to use our time to prepare for the future.  We have begun to develop our property on Tulalip, to become our future culture camp & garden.

2021 Excavating has been completed for the garden and camp. Were able to experiment with various planting methods (Hugelkulter, wicking buckets, hydroponic). Created a partnership with a local elementary school to help with a gardening program and provided our first cultural event on Indigenous Day.

2022 Goals are to complete the medical garden bed and examples of gardening methods in the demonstration garden. Establish a parking area for future Tribal Revival events and visitors to the garden/camp.  Create the trail in the camp woods and stake out the location of a theatre in the woods.

As soon as we are able we will resume our yearly Tribal revival events. This year we will have our second Indigenous Day event.

We are grateful to Seattle People's Fund, Tulalip Tribes, Puyallup Tribe, Stillaguamish Tribe and Preston's Home Services for supporting our program.
