In partnership with others we develop various workshops and classes on Native American culture. This provides foster families additional opportunities to share with their children the importance of learning about their culture. 

Tribal Revival

Heartbeat teams with various organizations to offer a yearly  Native American cultural event. Volunteers from many tribes join together to provide activities designed for children and their families to offer a cultural learning experience.

Culture Camp & Educational Garden

Developing a culture camp to have a permanent location for our cultural events and an educational garden for students to learn about growing methods and traditional native plants.

What We Do

 Education

Heartbeat offer classes on various topics such as Cultural Relevancy, Micro Aggressions, Children's Mental Health Issues, Managing Stress,  Special Education and advocating for your child's needs

Consultation & Resource Referral

Experienced social workers and foster parents offer consultation for foster, adoptive and kinship parents. Heartbeat makes recommendations to families on where they can find needed resources and services.
